La dermolipectomía abdominal o abdominoplastía es un procedimiento quirúrgico mayor que remueve el exceso de piel y grasa del abdomen inferior; esta cirugía se combina con el refuerzo del sistema muscular del abdomen modificando la piel fláccida y el abdomen protuido.
Las mejores candidatas a esta cirugía son aquellas personas que presentan un depósito graso con piel fláccida a la altura del abdomen, que no ha mejorado con gimnasia o dieta.
